YSMETER Participates in Drafting the National Standard for Industrial Instrument Intelligence

Against the backdrop of the global industrial intelligence transformation, intelligent industrial instruments, as the "eyes" and "nerves" of industrial production, are crucial to improving production efficiency, ensuring operational safety, and promoting the integration of industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies. Recently, the national standard GB/T 45727-2025 "Intelligent Level Requirements and Evaluation Methods of Industrial Instruments" was officially issued, marking the first national standard for intelligent classification in China's industrial automation field. It is scheduled to be implemented on December 1st of the same year, filling the gap in the systematic classification and evaluation of industrial instrument intelligence in China and providing a unified technical benchmark for the high-quality development of the industry.

 

As a leading enterprise in the domestic control valve industry, Zhejiang Yongsheng Technology Co., Ltd. participated in the drafting and formulation of this standard as a member of the control valve working group. Leveraging its years of technical accumulation and practical experience in the field of industrial control valves and intelligent instruments, YSMETER played a key role in the standard formulation process. It collaborated closely with three professional groups—temperature/pressure/level instrument group, valve and positioner group, and analytical instrument group—to conduct in-depth research on the core requirements of instrument intelligence, repeatedly demonstrate technical details, and promote the refinement and improvement of the standard, ensuring that the standard is scientific, practical and forward-looking, and fully adapting to the actual needs of industrial production and intelligent transformation.

Core Highlights of the Standard

This national standard has clear guiding significance and practical value, with four core highlights that effectively address the pain points of the industry and promote the standardized development of intelligent instruments:

 

● Intelligent Level Classification: It establishes a clear progressive path from I1 (Ontology) to I4 (Autonomous), clarifying the development direction of instrument intelligence and providing a clear basis for enterprises to upgrade their products.

 

● Five Capability Dimensions: It covers core intelligent features such as data processing, communication interaction, and system collaboration, comprehensively evaluating the intelligent level of industrial instruments from multiple angles.

 

● Quantitative Evaluation System: It stipulates more than 20 rigid indicators such as diagnostic accuracy and communication stability, making the evaluation of instrument intelligence more scientific, standardized and operable.

 

● Cross-equipment Applicability: It is compatible with mainstream equipment such as temperature/pressure/flow instruments, analyzers, and actuators, realizing unified intelligent evaluation standards across categories and facilitating the integrated application of industrial instruments.
